Artist's Description
Trunk of an ancient Maple tree with vines and knots along a street in Florence Massachusetts near the rail trail
About Steven Nelson
I have always been active in art but took up 35mm photography in college during the 80s. Over the years, I have followed the advances in photographic techniques and technologies and enjoy exploring different methods and subject matter. Lately, I feel drawn to the worn and imperfect, showing moments of change and the passage of time (Wabi-sabi)
