Vibrant purple crocuses emerge from a blanket of melting snow, hinting at the transition from winter to spring. Droplets of water cling to the petals, reflecting the resilience of early spring flowers.

About Steven Nelson

Steven Nelson

I first studied black and white and darkroom photography at Muhlenberg College, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in both Art and Psychology. After graduation, I held multiple positions at the Visual Arts Center in NJ. Later I worked at a chain of camera stores where I was encouraged to learn and explore a wide array of photographic equipment and services. After a couple of years, I attended Marywood University, where I worked briefly in the school art gallery, and graduated with a Master's degree in Art Therapy. After some time working in the mental health field, economics drew me into first testing but ultimately developing software. All the while I continued to pursue photography, and most recently have moved to a mirrorless system...
