Feeding seagulls on a pier on a cold misty day framed by trees and stonework on Lake Geneva in Switzerland with the Alps mostly hidden by clouds in the distance
I first studied black and white and darkroom photography at Muhlenberg College, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in both Art and Psychology. After graduation, I held multiple positions at the Visual Arts Center in NJ. Later I worked at a chain of camera stores where I was encouraged to learn and explore a wide array of photographic equipment and services. After a couple of years, I attended Marywood University, where I worked briefly in the school art gallery, and graduated with a Master's degree in Art Therapy. In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
