About Steven Nelson
I first studied black and white and darkroom photography at Muhlenberg College, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in both Art and Psychology. After graduation, I held multiple positions at the Visual Arts Center in NJ. Later I worked at a chain of camera stores where I was encouraged to learn and explore a wide array of photographic equipment and services. After a couple of years, I attended Marywood University, where I worked briefly in the school art gallery, and graduated with a Master's degree in Art Therapy. After some time working in the mental health field, economics drew me into first testing but ultimately developing software. All the while I continued to pursue photography, and most recently have moved to a mirrorless system...

Isn't it wonderful to discover these shapes in nature and frame them as beautiful natural abstracts. Beautifully seen. L

Thank you! Particularly with macro work I like pushing it to the edge where the subject is still identifiable
