In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Steven Nelson replied:

Thank you so much, will do!

About Steven Nelson

Steven Nelson

I first studied black and white and darkroom photography at Muhlenberg College, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in both Art and Psychology. After graduation, I held multiple positions at the Visual Arts Center in NJ. Later I worked at a chain of camera stores where I was encouraged to learn and explore a wide array of photographic equipment and services. After a couple of years, I attended Marywood University, where I worked briefly in the school art gallery, and graduated with a Master's degree in Art Therapy. After some time working in the mental health field, economics drew me into first testing but ultimately developing software. All the while I continued to pursue photography, and most recently have moved to a mirrorless system...
